Todd Zimberg - Todd has been performing and teaching in the Puget Sound region for nearly 30 years. With A Master's degree in percussion, he is looking for an outlet for his "Timpany Jones" and found it with the Federal Way Symphony. Todd has worked with The Jazz Police, Tony Gable, Jumbalassy and others. He is the current director of the Instrumental Music Program at Seattle Academy of Arts and Science and he teaches Rock, Jazz and World Music at Highline Community College. Todd also directs the popular Federal Way Symphony Swing Band and is the camp director of the Vashon Percussion Camp (aka Drum Camp). Todd is passionate about music and enjoys working with the young musicians during camp.
Lonnie Mardis - Lonnie, native to the Northwest, is a popular touring musician and has been a staple in the Seattle music scene for many years. Lonnie has led many ensembles and bands with a variety of styles including jazz, swing, rock, blues and classical. He has played with many renowned artists including Bobby Shew, Roger Fischer, Pete Christlieb and others. He received his Master's degree in Music Performance from the New England Conservatory and most recently has contracted with Jazzman's cafe's and the Retain Brand Group to compose jazz music to be played and purchased in its restaurants.
Maestro A. Brian Davenport - Born in Walla Walla, Washington, Maestro Davenport earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from Harvard. He has conducted orchestras throughout the world including China, Scandanavia, Russia, Germany and Ukraine. He will celebrate his 31st season with the Federal Way Symphony this year and his second with the Summer Music Camp.
Pamela Casella - Pamela is an accomplished veteran of the opera and recital stage. She has been instucting beginning and advanced students for many years in her home studio as well as providing many of those students professional theatrical opportunities in theatres across the United States and Europe. A graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music and the director of Lyric Opera Northwest, Pamela has long been successful in instructing vocal strists of all genres. As an established voice teacher in New York City, Germany and Seattle, many of her students are involved with many northwest production company performances every year. Her students excel in musical comedy, Broadway and opera productions.
Craig Nim - Craig's performing career has seen him singing leading roles on Broadway, as a solist with the New York Philharmonic and with the New York City Opera and numerous other American and European opera companies. He has appeared with symphonies, pop concerts, summer stock, musical theatre productions, chamber groups, and oratorios and touring companies all over the United States and Europe. Both Craig and his wife Pamela Casella teach ambitious voice students in their home studio in West Seattle. Many of these students appear in theatres nationwide and in Craig and Pamela's arts organization, Lyric Opera Northwest's productions.
